Some 20 Morgans will be coming from Sydney to join nine local 'Mogs' on display at the event, organised by Great Lakes Historic Automobile Club.
Considering their relatively low annual output, Morgans, especially older models from the 1960s, turn up in the strangest places. On a recent cruise club member Brian Payne found one on display aboard 'Voyager of the Seas' .
Now in its 19th year, the motorfest is the historic car club's major event each year. It sees some 350 vehicles on display, ranging from the exotic right through to the more mundane daily drivers.
Displays include some Aussie race cars, Formula 2 race cars, stationary engines, hot rods, motor bikes, customised cars, Nissan coupes and more.
All vehicles are welcome so if you're proud of your personal transport, why not come along and share your 'pride and joy' with us.
Entry is a nominal gold coin donation with all proceeds going to Great Lakes Palliative Care Support group and as usual, public entry is free.
The club invites people to come and enjoy a great day at John Wright Park, on the water at Tuncurry, commencing at 8.30 m right through to 1pm.
