Emergency services attended the scene of a two vehicle accident in Whittingham this morning. Crews from the Singleton Fire and Rescue station, Hunter Valley Police, NSW Rural Fire Service and NSW Ambulance arrived at 6:15am. "Firefighters arrived to find fluid on the road way for 200m," Singleton firefighter Andrew Porters told the Singleton Argus. "Firefighters quickly got to work using spagsorb to render the area safe." Police were in attendance to control traffic, as traffic was blocked in the North bound lane, while firefighters got to work. "Firefighters would like to remind everyone to slow down and move to the left while emergency vehicles are urgently driving to an emergency and please slow down to a safe speed while passing stationary vehicles displaying emergency warning lights," he added.
