MidCoast Council's 2019-20 operational plan and proposed fees and charges is now on public exhibition and the community has until 4.30pm Wednesday, June 19 to provide feedback.
The document also includes the budget for the coming year and outlines how and where funds will be spent.
"We invite members of the public to provide feedback on these documents, which will then go back to councillors for adoption," general manager Adrian Panuccio explained.
"The plans provide an overview of where we are headed, a detailed outline of deliverables and the performance criteria against which we will measure our progress."
Mr Panuccio said an important focus for the coming year will be on a range of transformational projects that will take MidCoast Council into the next phase of integration and providing services for the community.
"Many of these projects focus on improving the internal business processes of council, and this work is critical to ensure that direct services to the community are delivered efficiently and effectively."
During the coming year MidCoast Council will also be working to deliver improvements to significant recreational facilities, the Civic Precinct project providing a new innovative library space and customer service point for the Forster community, development of a cultural plan, and the implementation of support strategies for youth and ageing sectors.
