Councillors voted unanimously to allocate the funding to the organisations at the November 24 ordinary meeting of MidCoast Council.
A total of $68,850 is being allocated to:
Croki Progress Association - $3150 for the purchase of a defibrillator and two first aid kits for the Resilience Shed.
Gloucester Community Gardens - $14,260 to construct a storage site to house tools and materials, and purchase of a water tank.

Great Lakes Education Fund - $2000 towards resilience workshops for young people moving away from the area for tertiary education.
Harrington Crowdy Head Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism - $15,000 to create an Emergency Plan and Disaster Resilience handout.
Manning River Agriculture and Horticulture Taree - $13,346 for the replacement of flood damaged seating and tables at Taree Showground.
Marlee Hall - $3310 for installation of a 22,700 litre water tank for supply of water in fire emergencies.
Tinonee Rural Fire Brigade - $6904 for the purchase of a drone.
Harrington Lions Club - $10,880 for the purchase of four semi-automatic defibrillators.
Councillors at the meeting also voted for a second round of Disaster Recovery Grant funding to be delivered in 2022, and that a panel of three councillors be appointed in February 2022 to assess the second round of applications.
Disaster Recovery Grant funding is jointly provided through the federal and state governments and administered by Resilience NSW through local councils.
