Eligible community groups are invited to apply for the funding to support ongoing recovery and build resilience and preparedness for future disaster events.
Projects and activities must be completed by May 30, 2022.
"The projects and activities can either support ongoing recovery needs in a community, or they may improve the capacity and capability of community members to respond to future disasters," MidCoast Council Libraries and community services manager, Chris Jones said.
"The funding may also be used to purchase items of equipment required to deliver these projects and activities," Mr Jones said.
To be eligible, organisations must meet specific entity criteria and have an Australian business number (ABN).
The project or activity must also be delivered within the Mid Coast local government area (LGA).
The projects and activities can either support ongoing recovery needs in a community, or they may improve the capacity and capability of community members to respond to future disasters.

"We encourage any eligible organisation that wants to deliver a project or activity to improve the recovery and resilience of their community following our bushfire events to take a look at these grants and apply," Mr Jones said.
Round one of the Disaster Recovery Grant Program delivered vital equipment such as defibrillators and first aid equipment for communities and the purchase of a drone to assist the Rural Fire Service (RFS).
Round one has also delivered the construction of storage sheds for community gardens, replacement of damaged equipment after floods and water tanks for community halls.
In addition, funding was provided for resilience workshops for young people.

The funding round is open from Monday, November 29 and closes Monday, January 3, 2022.
The Disaster Recovery Grant funding is provided through the joint Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery funding arrangements and funding has been administered by Resilience NSW.
