The New South Wales Department of Education has been advised by NSW Health of the case.
The school will be non-operational effective immediately for the on-site attendance of staff and students to allow time for contact tracing and cleaning.
All staff and students are asked to self-isolate until they receive further advice.

NSW Health has requested anyone who has been unwell or if you develop any symptoms such as a fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, loss of smell/taste, muscle/joint pains, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting or extreme tiredness to be tested at one of the COVID-19 testing clinics.
On Sunday, Hunter New England Health (HNEH) recorded two cases in Wingham.
The MidCoast Local Government Area has recorded 132 cases of COVID since the outbreak began in the Hunter New England Health District (HNEH) on August 5.
Fragments of the virus were detected in sewage samples from Dawson, Wingham, Old Bar, Harrington, Hallidays Point and Forster treatment plants on Saturday, October 23.
