The Bureau of Meteorology forecasts light showers over the weekend with a possible shower next Monday.
Temperatures should reach around 18 degrees Celsius, with an overnight minimum between 8 and 10 degrees.
The bureau says a slow-moving high pressure system over western New South Wales and a weakening low pressure system over the eastern Tasman Sea are maintaining generally southerly winds over coastal waters until the end of the week.
Winds will gradually turn northerly over the southern coastal waters early next week as the high moves into the Tasman Sea.
As the clouds clear early next week, the daytime temperature will rise slightly to a high of 21 degrees next Wednesday, while overnight temperatures will drop to a low of 6 to 8 degrees.
