However, that doesn't appear to be worrying her form, because she claimed her third successive women's club championship in a convincing fashion. Sally works at Club Taree these days, often in the golf pro shop.
"I play each Wednesday,'' she said.
"But I work Saturdays and Sundays now, so I don't get a chance to play on weekends.''
Sally is the Manning River Times-Iguana Sportstar of the Week, earning a $50 open order at Iguana.
She led from the opening round. She completed the 54 holes in 246 shots to win from Judy Fuller on 260.
"Judy had one bad round - the first I think - otherwise it would have been closer,'' Sally explained.
However, Sally was happy with her overall performance, saying it was one of the best in her three year reign.
"I usually try to shoot under 85. I had one round of 84 and others of 80 and 82, so I was pleased with that,'' she explained.
Sally added that the championships had to be postponed while work was carried out on three holes. This meant that two players who would have been leading contenders, Christine George - a former champion and Quedesha Golledge, were unable to take part because of other commitments.
Had they been in the field Sally reasons her task would have been more difficult.
Sally has now won the championship on nine occasions starting back in the early 1990s.
She had a break from the game for a number of years before resuming to start her three year dominance of the event.

Sally isn't sure how she stands as far as winning the championship the most times.
"Kay Woolcock and Beryl Avery both have their names on the board a number of times, but I don't know what the record is,'' she admitted.
"I guess I'd be up there somewhere.''
Sally's also been a regular winner of the club's foursomes championship with Jo Stinson in the last few years.
Her Golf Australia handicap is six although she usually plays off seven or eight at Taree because of the course's rating.
Hockey and football have been among Sally's other sporting pursuits over the years, but she figures golf will be her main focus for the foreseeable future.
"I registered to play hockey this year but I only had a few games before I was asked to work on Saturdays,'' she said.
"And I can't see myself going back to play football. I'm not 19 anymore and playing five sports.
"So it looks as though golf will be the one.''
