At around 3pm, Wednesday, April 10, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to Elands, north of Taree, to a man injured in an accident.
The man in his 30s was treated by paramedics and the helicopter's critical care medical team for a serious leg injury before being airlifted to Port Macquarie Hospital.
