Clean energy investment will be at the centre of a round-table meeting of Australia's leading banking heads, superannuation funds and renewables experts.

Treasurer Jim Chalmers will host the meeting of more than 30 investor groups in Brisbane on Friday, which will also be attended by Climate Change Minister Chris Bowen.
The group will discuss priority investments as Australia transitions to clean energy sources, sustainable finance growth and energy performance opportunities to help consumers save money on electricity bills.
Dr Chalmers said the round-table would be an opportunity for governments, investors and energy experts to co-ordinate and advance plans to meet Australia's emissions reduction targets.
"Australia has the potential to be a renewable energy superpower, and aligning our efforts is critical to achieving this ambition," he said.
"We have what the world needs, when the world needs it, and we will keep adapting to changes in the global landscape to maximise our comparative advantages."
The treasurer has hosted a series of round-table discussions to help align the government's agenda with private-sector organisations and increase investment in national priorities.
Mr Bowen said the climate emergency was Australia's jobs opportunity, and the meeting would be about seizing it.
Dr Chalmers will hand down his second budget on May 9.
In October, the government committed more than $24 billion for economic opportunities presented by the net-zero transformation.
The upcoming budget is expected to continue investment in this area.
