Taree is set to reach 29 degrees on the 25th with some clouds. There is a medium chance of showers, most likely during the morning. There is a chance of a thunderstorm. Light winds becoming east to northeasterly 20 to 25 km/h during the day.

Forster and Harrington are also set to reach 29 degrees.
The BOM emphasised that the forecast could change.
"Should Christmas lunch be inside or outside, will the surf be safe for a swim, will it be wet on the roads; these are just some of the questions we help you answer each year," said meteorologist Jackson Browne on Sunday.
