Association president Janine Kennewell was returned unopposed for her third term at the recent annual meeting. Mrs Kennwell concedes it has been a tumultuous time.
"We've had to deal with fires, COVID and floods,'' she said.
The association complex at Taree Recreation Centre was badly damaged in the March floods, particularly the administration area. Despite this the season started on time in April, but came to an early end when the State went into lockdown in August.
"Hopefully next year will be something closer to normal,'' Mrs Kennewell said.
Sharee Bromley remains vice president with Kelly Northam the secretary. Kate Drury is the treasurer and Wendy Bosher the registrar. Karla Agnew is a newcomer, officially taking over as umpire convenor. Nicole Moroney is the representative convenor; Lorraine Phillips carnival convenor and Michele McSweeney the coaching convenor. John and Sharee Bromley are the canteen supervisors. Walking netball convenor, grants convenor and umpire development officer positions have yet to be filled.
