Federal funding has been announced for ex-services clubs at Wingham, Forster and Dungog in the Lyne electorate.

Wingham RSL Sub-branch received $3000 to support volunteer activities, Dungog sub-branch received $4000 to install a new Roll of Honour, and Forster Tuncurry sub-branch received $2205.55 for veterans' advocacy and advice.
Lyne MP Dr David Gillespie said the grants were from three separate programs.
Wingham RSL was successful in securing federal funding under the 'Volunteer Grants' 2021 program, of which there are more than 50 successful projects across local communities.

Dr Gillespie said the Dungog RSL is supported under the 'Saluting Their Service' program, which is currently open for further applications until February 8, 2022.
"Dungog RSL will be installing a new Roll of Honour in the RSL Memorial Club to commemorate local service personnel who have served since the Vietnam War.
Dr Gillespie said the 'Saluting Their Service' program is designed to preserve wartime heritage and involve local communities in projects that highlight the service and sacrifice of service personnel.
Forster Tuncurry RSL has been successful in securing federal funding under the 'Building Excellence in Support and Training' (BEST) program, to offer advice and assistance to the local veteran and defence community.
"I am delighted to be announcing this funding support for three local clubs who are doing so much to promote appreciation of our servicemen and women and the roles that they have played in shaping our nation," Dr Gillespie said.
