The community at Wingham High School have a tradition of commemorating Remembrance Day on November 11 each year.

However this year, due to COVID restrictions still remaining in schools across NSW, there was no Remembrance Day assembly.
Determined to still commemorate the occasion, the schools new leaders for 2022 laid a wreath at 11am.
In addition, all classes at the school observed a minute's silence at 11am.
This year's pared back event was organised by Wingham High School's head of HSIE, Kurt Croker.
