Our local Lansdowne Post Office is requesting that if anyone has any parcels to collect from the post office, could you please come and pick them. Christmas is just around the corner and Colin and Shirley are being inundated with parcels, getting up to around 150 daily.
In such a small space it is not an easy task to store them.
Both Colin and Shirley send a big thank you to everyone for your continued support through the challenging times. It has been very much appreciated.
Lansdowne Public School
The Lansdowne Public School have some fantastic prizes for their annual Christmas raffle this year. There have been some very generous donations of prizes from local businesses, and the staff would like to thank them for their support of Lansdowne school.
They are currently putting together the Christmas hamper and would appreciate any donations of Christmas goodies to add to their hamper which will be in a garden trolley, and will be worth $250. That will be only one of over 16 other grand prizes. Raffle tickets are available from the school if you would like to support the school.
The Lansdowne school's annual fundraiser their Colour Fun Run is going to be a fantastic event. They will be having a full day of exciting colour activities. The money raised will be going towards classroom equipment to support the students learning. If any community members would like to sponsor either a student or one of the staff, please contact the school in office hours. Phone 6556 7147.
