Taree's Remembrance Day commemoration service will be conducted next Thursday, November 11 at the memorial at Club Taree.

The service begins at 10.40am with Manning Valley Pipes and Drums performing. Biripi elder Ray Saunders will give the acknowledgement of Country and Club Taree CEO, Paul Allan, who is the master of ceremonies, will give the introduction.
One minute's silence will be observed at 11am, followed by playing of The Last Post. Crosses marking departed service members will be laid on the memorial, followed by The Ode and Reveille.
Taking part will be Taree RSL Sub-branch president Charles Fisher, vice president Darcy Elbourne, chaplain Rev Bill Green and member Robert hicks, as well as MidCoast Council mayor, David West, who will address the service. Piper John Andrews from the Manning Valley Pipes and Drums will pipe during the wreath laying ceremony.
Seating will be available and Public Health Order restrictions will apply.
