Five of the cases are from Taree, two from Forster, two from Tuncurry, and one from Tea Gardens.
A total of 158 cases of COVID have been recorded in the MidCoast LGA since the outbreak began in the HNEH District on August 5.
The 10 new cases are included in the 54 new cases for the Hunter New England Health (HNEH) District.
Seventeen of the total active cases in HNEH are currently being cared for in hospital. Four are in ICU.
Thirty-nine cases are linked, nine are unlinked, six are still under investigation.
Thirty-six were infectious in the community. Twelve were isolating while infectious.
NSW had 268 new cases in today's COVID update (Friday, October 29) with 363 people in hospital and 80 requiring intensive care.
Two people have died with COVID-19 in NSW today, taking the State's COVID-19 death toll to 510.

Great Lakes College Forster campus will be closed today, October 29 after a member of the school community tested positive for COVID-19.
All staff and students have been asked to self-isolate until they receive further advice.
