This will be in the under 10s, 12s, 14s and 16 age divisions.
Matches usually start mid-October, but this year has been delayed by a State government ban on community sport. The ban lifted this week.
Junior cricket spokesman, Matt Kennewell said it was unlikely the season would be extended to make-up for the lost matches.
"We'd like to, but we also have to think about other sports starting up for winter,'' he said.
He expects there will be a slight reduction in team numbers.
"But with what's going on in the last six months that's understandable,'' Matt said.
Mid North Coast representative cricket for the under 12s, 14s and 16 divisions will start from Sunday, October 31.
A trial for representative players will be held at the Taree Recreation Ground nets on Sunday.
