Myall Lakes MP, Stephen Bromhead said he will advise when the school will reopen.
Chatham High School has also recorded a COVID case and will be closed on Monday, October 18 for deep cleaning and contact tracing to take place.
Chatham Public School will reopen as planned after being closed for cleaning and contact tracing after a member of the school tested positive for COVID, Mr Bromhead said.

Taree Pet Barn has also been listed as a COVID exposure site. Anyone who attended the venue on the specified date and time are casual contacts (unless they have been notified by NSW Health that they are a close contact) and must get tested and isolate until a negative test result is received.

A drive-through COVID testing clinic will open up today (Monday, October 18) at Taree Showground.
It will operate from 8am - 4pm, and will be operational seven days a week.
No appointment is necessary and swabbing can be done for all ages.
