The season was to start on Wednesday, October 6 but this has been delayed until Wednesday, October 20, depending on COVID-19 restrictions.
Taree will host a long course qualifying meet on Friday, October 29 and Saturday, October 30 at the Manning Aquatic Leisure Centre.
"We hope to run it under the 70 and 80 per cent vaccination rates the State government is announcing,'' club treasurer Ian Smith explained.
"We will be monitoring and making a decision closer to the date, so it's fingers crossed at the moment.''
This meet will be sponsored by Coastline Credit Union. Events will start at 6.15pm on the Friday and 9am on the Saturday. A total of 77 races will be contested.
The club's squads are training at the aquatic centre. For more information go to the club's website taree.swimming.org.au
