Brown, who is now based in Sydney, has been named in the Australian squad for the series that will be underway in Mackay next Tuesday when a one day fixture is played.
All games will be played in Queensland, where four ODIs, a one-off test and four T20 games will be decided. The test will run from September 30 to October 3 and will be staged at Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast.
This will be the start of what Brown hopes will be a busy summer. She was included in the Australian squad for last season's series against New Zealand, but didn't play a match.
Brown told the Times earlier that being in the national squad was a great experience, but now the 23-year-old fast bowler is determined to make her debut at some stage of the series.
Brown, who started cricket in the Manning juniors, has switched from the Melbourne Renegades to the Sydney Sixes for the upcoming WBBL|11.
She had been with the Renegades since the second season of the Big Bash. She'll also open the bowling for NSW in the WNCL after previously turning out for Canberra when she was living in the national capital.

Brown has fully recovered from a serious hamstring injury that ended her campaign last season. When she makes her debut Brown will be the first Manning cricketer since Johnny Martin to play at international level.
Martin, from Burrell Creek, played eight tests from 1960/61 to 1967.
