Cancellations
The Upper Lansdowne Hall regrets that due to the government restrictions the Swamp Stompers, who were to entertain at the hall on September 26, have had to cancel their tour.
The Upper Lansdowne Hall will hold its annual general meeting on Tuesday evening, September 21 at the hall commencing at 7pm, (unless health orders change) and all are welcome.
The Upper Lansdowne Hall is community owned, and you can join the association for the huge sum of $1 per year. Anyone interested in finding out about the running of the hall, or to help with its organisation is very welcome.
The Lansdowne Community Hall has made the decision to cancel the October markets and the planned 10th hall anniversary function which was to be held in November this year. This decision was made due to the uncertainty with the COVID. Hopefully, we can open with everything more normal in 2022.
Coopernook RFS
Coopernook Rural Fire Brigade's crew have been out and about responding to incidents and assisting forestry's with their hazard reduction in Coopernook Forest.
Coopernook fire brigade captain, Sherrie Gaul thinks because there have been quite a few incidents already that it is now a suitable time to go over your fire plans.
