The tour will consist of three one day internationals in September, a day/night test in Perth between September 30 and October 3 and three T20 matches.
This will be the first day/night Test match played by between Australia and the Indian women's teams.
Brown, 23, an opening bowler, was named in the national squad for the series against New Zealand last year, but didn't play a match.
Based in Canberra, she previously turned out with the ACT Meteors in the Women's National Cricket League (WNCL), but has signed to play with the NSW Breakers this year. Brown plays for the Melbourne Renegades in the WBBL, although her season was cut short in 2020/21 by a hamstring injury.
Brown started playing cricket in the Manning junior competition and won a Manning first grade premiership with United.
