The reunion was held for people who had been at the school from 1940 until 1960.
This year organisers are doing it again. The second "Blast from the Past" will be held at the Lansdowne Bowling and Recreation club on Saturday, September 11.
Organisers are hoping that everyone can come along to meet up again and spend time with old friends from the past.
A delicious morning tea will be ready when you arrive at the club and a luncheon will be a two-course meal which will be available from the club Bistro for $20.
Bring along any old photos or anything that you would like to share with everyone.
There will be raffles and photos will be on display. For more information, contact Laurel on 0400 791 954.
Keeping safe
Things are noticeably quieter with in the Lansdowne Valley community because of this dreadful COVID.
It is sometimes hard to recognise some people because of having to wear face masks.
Everyone is staying indoors and only going out when needing to.
The Lansdowne Community Hall has had to cancel bookings for the hall and the community markets which were to be held on the 30th of this month. It makes for tough times not being able to raise funds for the ongoing cost of maintenance for the hall.
The markets are usually a way for people to meet up with friends and family members as well as being a nice outing.
Still, it is a small price to pay when you consider the alternative. It has been proven that it only takes one person who is unaware that they have this virus to infect so many.
So, it is best to do what we must do to keep everyone safe.
