To be eligible as a candidate for MidCoast Council you must be enrolled in the MIdCoast Council area.
Nominations and registration of candidates and groups closes Wednesday, August 4, 2021.
MidCoast Council has 11 elected councillors who will then choose the mayor. The current councillors will continue to hold their civic office until the rescheduled election on September 4.
Greens candidate Dheera Smith and her team area also contesting the election on a group ticket.

The next general election will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021.
Voting is compulsory and you have until Monday, July 26 to check your details are correct on the electoral roll.
