The club made the announcement on its Facebook page this week.
"Wingham Tigers wish to announce that Mitch Collins has been appointed captain-coach for the 2022 season,'' the post said.
"Following recent discussions Mick Sullivan has informed the club he will be moving on at season's conclusion, so the club has decided to act quickly and begin to plan ahead.
"Despite a indifferent start to 2021 Sully is determined to get the Tigers to finish the season strongly and challenge for the title. Paul Lewis will continue to assist Mitch next season, while Craig Martin will take on the manager's position.''
Collins, a club junior, is coaching Wingham's under 18s this year.
