Restrictions across all of New South Wales are tightening following the latest COVID outbreak.
MidCoast Council announced its June 30 ordinary meeting would be going ahead, with special provisions for councillors to attend remotely given the current COVID-19 restrictions in NSW.
In accordance with the NSW government Public Health Order, face masks are now compulsory at all indoor non-residential settings, including MidCoast Council offices and facilities.
Capacity limits are in place at these locations and people will need to check-in via the Service NSW QR code system. Council staff working in an indoor setting are also wearing masks in keeping with the order.
Over the weekend, the NSW government extended stay-at-home orders across all of Greater Sydney including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Shellharbour and Wollongong, and introduced restrictions for all other parts of NSW - including the MidCoast.
Meanwhile the next COVID testing clinic at Forster will open at Forster Private Hospital with Douglas Hanly Moir conducting the tests. Operating hours will be 8am to 4pm - Monday - Friday and 8am - 2pm Saturday
A Medicare Card is required, however, no appointment is necessary.
