Manning Great Police District officers are appealing to members of the community for assistance as the incidence of bicycle thefts in Forster Tuncurry continues

On the afternoon of Saturday, June 12 plain clothes police were patrolling a local caravan park when they witnessed a person riding a bicycle in the park.
Following a short pursuit police were able to recover the bicycle with the rider running from the area.
After a forensic examination was undertaken the $10,000 electric bicycle was later returned to its owner.
The following Tuesday, June 15 and Thursday, June 17 police recovered another two bicycles, following interactions with riders.
Investigations are continuing, however police are seeking information concerning these two recovered bicycles.

Crime Stoppers has partnered with BikeVault and Bicycle NSW to help reduce theft and increase the chances of stolen bikes being recovered.
