We need all possible resources put into OUR public hospital at Manning Base - where the staff and doctors try desperately to cope with demand.
They are a really dedicated bunch of people, who go above and beyond to look after us all.
Why waste money on a second hospital, when there is already a hospital at Forster?
There are intensive care ambulances and rescue helicopters etc, to cope with remote parts of our very widespread communities.
The staff at MBH are crying out for help - more staff, more hours, more resources.
If there is $67 million to throw at horse racing, then how about Manning Base Hospital ?
Get it right.
