Famous illustrator Marc McBride, creator of all of the covers for the Deltora Quest series by Emily Rodda, visited Wingham Brush Public School on Thursday, May 20.

Mr McBride held students from years three to six, and their teachers, spellbound as he showed them how he can create dragons using his air brush technique. He also guided the students to create their own dragons.
The students were all very enthusiastic and inspired to meet Mr McBride, waiting patiently for their autograph.
Mr McBride kindly donated the dragon he created and it now belongs in the school.
On Friday, 21 May artist and author Leigh Hobbs, best known for his children's book characters Old Tom, Horrible Harriet, Mr Chicken and Mr Badger, visited the K-2 students.
Mr Hobbs showed the students how he creates a drawing of his character Mr Chicken. The students were all so excited to have a go at creating their very own Mr Chicken.
