He is the first Taree parkrunner to achieve the milestone. Russell is a trailblazer with the Taree run. He was also the first to 50, 150, 200 and now 250.
Russell completed the 5km journey along the Manning foreshore in 43.07 - far from his personal best, but that didn't really matter. The run was conducted in perfect weather.
He's now hoping to be the first Taree parkrunner to make it to the 300 club.
Last Saturday's run was the 272nd conducted in Taree since May 2015.
Luke Wand was first across the line, clocking 20.27. Consistent Brooke Hosgood again claimed second place, running 20.45. There were 121 finishers.
The 273rd Taree parkrun will start at 8am next Saturday at Endeavour Place.
