The event is being held on Sunday, April 18 from 9-11.30am on the lawn at the front of the Pacific Palms Recreation Club.
There will be fun for all ages with weeding workshops, free native plants and weeding kits to take home, a complimentary barbecue breakfast and baked treats, an interactive catchment model, Worimi cultural walks and wetland tours, activities with National Parks discovery rangers and games for the children.
"We're excited to be able to finish what has been a great four years, and celebrate with the community," MidCoast Council environmental officer - education and engagement, Erin Masters said.
It's also a chance to meet local experts and ask any questions you might have about weeds and wildlife friendly gardens.

"It's also a chance to meet local experts and ask any questions you might have about weeds and wildlife friendly gardens."
Attendees will go in the running to win the lucky door prize, a fantastic top of the range weeding bundle as well as the chance to have a bush regenerator visit your house for a day, with the lucky winners drawn at the event.
To continue to help the community create wildlife friendly gardens, free weeding kits and a variety of native plants will be available on the day.
"We recommend attendees wear enclosed shoes in order to participate in the full range of activities and assure everyone that this will be a COVID safe event and will meet the NSW Department of Health guidelines," Ms Masters said.
The Backyard Bushcare program is a four-year project supported by the NSW Government through its Environmental Trust.
