Emergency repairs on Wingham's Bight Bridge approaches
Emergency repair and reconstruction works to the Bight Bridge approaches on Lobban Road at Wingham will be undertaken by MidCoast Council tomorrow, Wednesday, March 31, through to the afternoon of Thursday, April 1.

The road onto the bridge was severely impacted by flooding.
In order to complete the repairs and have the bridge and travel route open to road users, contractors will continue working through the night.
"We understand this will impact residents in the immediate vicinity of the work location but safety and accessibility are a priority and we apologise for the inconvenience," council said.
