The 15-year-old is expected to open the batting in the two T20 fixtures and a 50 over game. She'll then start for a NSW/ACT under 16 side to play South Australia under 19s later in the week.
Samira, who attends Taree High, was this month named in the NSW All Schools Merit side following State All Schools Championships played at Maitland, where she was playing for NSW Combined High School Second XI. NSW Independent Schools and the NSW Combined Catholic Colleges were also represented along with the CHS First XI.

The program was curtailed because of wet weather. Opening the batting, Samira top scored with 22 in the opening game and was run out for eight in the second. Reports indicate she looked comfortable at the crease against two formidable bowling attacks.
Samira is also a member of the NSW Coastal under 16 and 19 Academy. This is made up of players from the three North Coast councils, Mid North Coast, North Coast and Far North Coast. Samira will have to attend six coaching sessions during the off-season, although final details have yet to be determined.
Earlier Samira was the leading run scorer in the NSW Country under 16s championship played in Tamworth, where she played for NSW Coastal. She was then the top batter for North Coastal under 19s at the country championships.
Samira captained the Mid North Coast boys' under 14 team at a carnival played in Newcastle, where, again she was the team's top run getter. She also captained the Manning under 14s inter-district side.
She played with Coffs Coast Chargers in the Regional Big Bash, the side losing the final against ACT at North Sydney Oval in early February.
Samira plays for Taree West in the Manning junior and third grade competitions.
She's also a handy medium pace bowler, but hasn't had much of an opportunity to show her form in representative fixtures.
