Stock and furniture were removed from the shop late last week ahead of repair work.
Volunteers stood in a line, dubbed the 'Lifeline chain gang', to transport the items from the shop to a truck.

The damaged goods were then taken to the Taree tip.
Store manager Heather Hands said the store was inundated with water up to knee height during the flood.
"On a positive note, we've had all of our volunteers on board who have been here every day this week helping us get this store back to what it was and even better," Heather said last Friday.
With the store now emptied, the restoration of the store can begin.
Damaged carpet will be pulled up and replaced and the walls will get a fresh coat of paint.
In the meantime, staff are unable to accept donations but will rely on community support when the store eventually reopens.
