The show is in its final block of filming in the Gold Coast and Brisbane which features some of the biggest and most challenging/action packed sequences.
"We have completed two stages so are effectively over halfway," said Montanna.
"Our last block of filming is quite possibly our most challenging, with shoots with action sequences and large amount of extras coming on set."
Montanna said the biggest challenge overall was initially bringing it all together.
"As a relatively new filmmaker, it was hard to make sure all avenues were covered.
"Having an amazing crew to work with and amazing makeup team along with a phenomenal cast made that a lot easier, and we've managed to get into a rhythm now.
"We have one of our biggest shoots coming up on April 7 with about 30 extras, so that will be a brand new challenge - with the most crew and cast we've ever had on set at any one time."
She said it's hard to describe the feeling of seeing everything come together and reviewing the footage.
"When you make something like this, it's hard to envision how it will turn out - but it truly has been an amazing experience and I'm so grateful to everyone who has jumped into this with me. I honestly can't wait to see the end result!"

Montanna gave a special mention to her director of photographer, Connor Lucas from Big Red Productions.
"He has been an absolute godsend and managed to turn my vision into a reality far beyond what I thought was possible. Supremely talented and amazing to work with."
Filming of Beyond Truth will be wrapped by the end of April, then post-production starts.
"The hope is to have it all edited and ready for closed viewing by the end of year/early next year by cast and crew, as well as a day with members of the public to gain feedback before submitting for funding for the rest of the season."
