Playing with his narrow biased bowls Greg only allowed his opponent to win five ends in a very short 21 end encounter with the final score being 31-9.
There were 34 entries in this event and wet weather has created some headaches for the game's organiser with that of Greg and Chris's game the only one finalised in the past week.
Wednesday Dad's Army
Greg Bartlett, Barry Kershaw and Allan Dodd were behind on the card after four ends against Bob Hardy, Greg Cuttance and Winston Latimore but in the following seven ends Greg and his team collected 17 shots and then go on to win the event with a +21 and take home the money.
Dally Hammond and Snow Trenchard had a +6 win against Col Hinton and Eric Weir.
Garry Crittenden and his partner Di Costello of Albian Park enjoyed their visit to our Club and they played with Brian Williams against George Sinclair, Roger Else and Eric Periera with a shot win to George's crew.
Justin Costa and Andy Bissett also had a shot victory over Peter Holden and Ross Piggott.
Wednesday Twilight
Wayne (Fatty) Goward and his helpers have been the brains behind this enjoyable social evening event and it is open to either gender, any age or bowling ability and entries can be taken up to 5pm each Wednesday.
