A 27-year-old Taree man will face Taree Local Court on Friday February 12, bail refused, charged with a string of weapon and drug offences.

About 8.15am on Friday February 5, Taree detectives, duty officers, members of the crime prevention team and crime management unit and the Mid North Coast dog squad executed a search warrant at a Taree premises.
The 27-year-old man, one of the occupiers of the premises, was present at the time.
Numerous items were located in the search including methamphetamine, sling shots, Diazepam tablets, vials of testosterone, cannabis leaf and seeds, a Scott Genius mountain bike, shotgun shells and cannabis plants.
The man was question, arrested and taken to Taree Police Station where he was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon without a permit, possession of ammunition without holding a licence, deal with property that were proceeds of crime, possession of methamphetamine, cannabis plant, cannabis leaf, cannabis seeds, testosterone, and prescribed restricted substance.
