Forster-Tuncurry, Harrington Waters and Tallwoods golf clubs recently played host to rounds of the Golf NSW Senior Order of Merit.

The Forster round attracted 104 players, with Port Macquarie Golf Club's David Bagust winning the gross with a one over par 73.
Mike Jackson, playing on his home course, had to settle for equal second with Monash Country Club's Douglas Cullam. They both finished the day two over par 74.
This result also gave Mike the win on the over 65s section.
The Forster club was well represented on the day with Allen Syme and Tony Jay tied fourth on the gross score, with Kogarah's Stephen Musgrave, with four over par 76.
Fellow clubmen Anthony Kennings, Geoff Vial, Paul Connell and Paul Matthews (six over par 78) tied for 10th spot with two other players.
Patrick Burn, from Forster-Tuncurry, was the nett winner with 69 nett. Geoff Vial also tied second with 70 nett.
Newcastle's Ken Brewer shot a one under par 71 to win the Harrington Waters 18 hole gross event. Reigning champion John Osborn, from Mudgee, finished runner-up with two over par 74.
Brewer won the major prize of $250, with Osborn awarded $150. Andrew Lamble won $50 for finishing third.
Toronto's Allan Payne was the over 65 years gross winner with three over par 75.
Dunheved's Declan Byrne was the nett winner with 67 nett, with Campbelltown's Chris Francis the over 65 years winner with 71 nett.
All players commented on the outstanding condition of the course during the event, according to Harrington Water Golf Club captain Peter Budden.
The final Mid Coast event at Tallwoods saw Kempsey's Rick Nicholson and Forster-Tuncurry's Paul Matthews named joint gross winners with one over par 73.
Rick also picked up the nett win with 70 nett. Paul had to settled for tied second with Pennant Hills' David Bullock on 71 nett, but was the over 65s winner.
Ken Brewer backed up his win at Harrington to tie third on the gross score with five over par 77. Several golfers who turned out at the other events performed well at Tallwoods.
The best home talent was Robert Anderson who finished tied 13th with nine over par 81. He also placed fourth in the nett with 72.
Order of Merit events will continue across the State through to November.
