About 2.40pm on Tuesday, September 22, emergency services were called to Main Road after the 67-year-old was pulled from the water unresponsive.
Paramedics attempted to resuscitate the man but he died at the scene.
It's believed the man attempted to swim after his boat on the river. A NSW Police Media spokesperson confirmed the incident was not suspicious.
