An investigation was launched in April after a video, uploaded to social media, showed Mr Addo-Carr firing a gun.
The duo were also fined $1000 after photos showed a group of men together on the camping trip. At the time, COVID-19 regulations stopped non-essential travel and gatherings.
The Sydney Morning Herald reported that Mr Addo-Carr plans to contest the fine.
His case was heard in Taree Local Court this week, with the firearm charge and COVID-19 fine to return to court on October 20.
Mr Mitchell's case returns to court on November 9.
Both Mr Mitchell and Mr Addo-Carr are set to be fined by the NRL. The code said the camping trip brought the game into disrepute.
