Now she needs your help.
Halle's grandmother, Sharon Smyth, has launched a Go Fund Me page to assist the family financially through the difficult time.
Asking for help is not something the family usually does, according to Sharon's bio on the page. However, Halle's fight isn't finished and the family could do with some form of reprieve.
Businesses and community members have opened their hearts and wallets already to raise almost $16,000 in just three days.
Halle is only seven-year-old and has battled the disease twice in her young life. She was originally diagnosed in October 2018 and had a tumour removed.
A routine MRI in March this year revealed a recurrence of the disease.
The young fighter endured more surgery and 33 bouts of radiation in Newcastle across a six-and-a-half week period. This took place at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, making the already tiresome process more difficult.
The family has tried complementary and alternative treatments, which are expensive.
