Fortunately, the Club was able to hold the meeting on Wednesday, July 22.
Although there were only half as many members attend compared to normal, it was, nevertheless, a very successful meeting.
One new member was inducted and the committee installed.
The new committee consists of Phil Nelson - president, Keith Brown - vice president, Christine Beach -secretary, Bill Beach - treasurer, Barry Nable - programmes, Robyn Gibson - bulletin, Helen Brown - membership, and Maree Lewis - welfare.
The committee has been meeting during the pandemic at the Wingham Riverside Reserve, with the aim of providing opportunities for members to get together safely and in smaller groups. These activities are, however, weather dependent as they are outdoor venues.
Members have been kept in touch with happenings and plans via the monthly bulletin, which has either been emailed or posted out. There are also monthly newsletters from Probus South Pacific online for members to access.
Our welfare officer has been keeping in touch with members throughout the past weeks.
