Just after 1am on Monday, July 27, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service critical care medical team stabilised the patient in Taree before undertaking the inter-hospital retrieval.
Across the weekend, the helicopter service completed missions in Tamworth and Coffs Harbour.
Meanwhile, a man was injured in a motor vehicle accident in Gloucester on Friday, July 24.
The helicopter service was called to the region following reports of a serious accident between a car and a motorcycle It was reported a 66-year-old motorcycle rider suffered leg injuries.
The man was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
