However, our beaches and rocks fished well last weekend with most species caught,
Crowdy Head provided drummer and groper as well tailor to 1kg gilled and gutted.
Crowdy beach fished well for tailor to 37cm.
In the estuary bream and luderick were caught from the wall on yuabbies. Luderick were also taken on green weed.
Chinaman's Point has also produced bream and luderick. Some good flathead to 2kg were caught from the wall.
Some whiting were taken on worm baits at night.
The rough seas should abate by Monday if the low pressure system keeps moving.
