The season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the risk it presented to players who have special needs and/or pre-existing medical conditions.
Once given the all clear, club founder Matt Zarb said it's 'a given' they'll return to action.
"It's a way to get the kids to be social," Matt said.
"Soccer is the last thing on the list, it's about social communication and just being together."

The club, which was born in 2018, is open to children of all ages with special needs.
Matt said players have already reaped the benefits, starting with making friends during their childhood.
"Why wait until after year 12 if they can start building relationships and making lifetime friends now, which is what's happening with the Rainbow Warriors," Matt said.
The side was set to link up with Arnetts FC this year for games and activities. The Newcastle based team has also suspended the 2020 season so plans will move forward to next year.
The Rainbow Warriors are always open to more members. Matt can be contacted on 0431 126 366 for more information.
