"Rotary is very happy to provide $5000 in funding for this novel type of library to buy tools and equipment which can be used by the whole Bobin community," said Maurie Stack from the Rotary Club of Taree on Manning.
"Rotary clubs locally have raised almost $400,000 to help bushfire victims.
"Most of the money has been distributed as direct grants to those who lost their homes and $37,000 provided by the Rotary Foundation has been specifically used to purchase water tanks and rural fencing for those affected.
"We are very glad to be now helping with the next stage of recovery as those affected start to rebuild their homes.
"We have enjoyed the opportunity of working closely with Lions on bushfire relief."
Sandra Zielke from the Bobin Community Hall said the tool library would help in a small way to rebuild what took some a lifetime to achieve, taken away by the November 2019 fires.
"It will be well maintained, efficiently and professionally operated, by members of the Bobin community.
"We cannot thank Rotary enough for this great start to something that will make a tremendous task a little easier," Sandra said.
