I am aware local businesses were going through tough times - recognising the isolation policy, job losses, uncertainty in the community, fear, and the desire for people to get 'back to some normality' and how all these circumstances affected keeping local shops/restaurants etc opened.

I appreciated George Dan (Dan's Ladies Wear) initiating the idea of vouchers. If a person couldn't go out shopping for Mother's Day or birthday presents then, when the fear was lessened, people could bring their gift voucher and shop in peace.
Thumbs up to our local stores and great idea George.
