The libraries and gallery regularly hold activities during the school holidays, but needed to think outside the box with closures due to the coronavirus.
The two packs, one for preschool and kindergarten and the other for primary school aged children, are available online now until the until Friday, April 24.
Each is 22 pages long and includes a range of games, find-a-words, science experiments, art activities and plenty more.
The content of the booklets is distinctly Australian.
Illustrations have been drawn by children's author and illustrator Stephen Michael King.
The number of services and items that can be borrowed for children through the MidCoast Libraries website are also highlighted.
These include ebooks and eaudiobooks through Borrowbox, books read by well known faces from Storybook Library and educational and entertaining films and television through Kanopy.
The booklets are available to download from https://library.midcoast.nsw.gov.au/Home/Featured-Content/April-Holiday-Booklets/Holiday-Booklets
If you are unable to print the booklet, MidCoast Libraries is offering a Print and Post service for it.
Send an email to library.events@midcoast.nsw.gov.au with your name, address, the name and number of booklets you would like posted. This is available until April 24.
