"While the challenges of COVID-19 are moving on a daily basis and we are in uncertain times, everyone at both of our hospitals is actively doing everything they can to look after our communities - albeit a little differently," Forster Private Hospital CEO, Deanne Portelli said.
"We continue to treat all patients, public and private, as our priority, also supporting our doctors and public hospital to meet community needs in these unprecedented times," Mrs Portelli said.
"We're actively working with Manning Hospital to relieve patient load, while also rallying the support of public and government.

Mayo CEO, Ben Uprichard said the longevity of both hospitals was underpinned by the experienced team of more than 372 highly trained staff.
"We love supporting our communities and we're committed to overcoming the challenges of COVID-19," Mr Uprichard said.
"To do this, it's important our communities continue to support us, and access our hospitals for their healthcare needs.
"We're here and available to anyone in need of private mental health support."
Mayo and Forster have a proud history of providing much-needed private healthcare services to the Manning and Great Lakes communities.
The hospitals have a combined 143 bed capacity, providing acute and specialty services that include intensive care and high dependency beds.
Facilities include five operating theatres accommodating surgery in the areas of orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, ENT, ophthalmology, dermatology, gastroenterology, vascular surgery and head and neck surgery.
Hospital medical services include mental health, inpatient and day program rehabilitation, endocrinology, oncology, neurology and cardiology with cardiac diagnostic services through Healthe Heart.
Also available are sleep studies, respiratory medicine and renal dialysis.
"Our hospitals continue to provide excellent and effective treatments and programs for mental health, and we continue to keep our patients safe, supported and well, with exceptional care supported by our robust COVID-19 screening processes," Mr Pritchard said.
"We know it's a challenging time, but we're still here and available to ensure people can continue their recovery from sickness, accident or surgery," Mrs Portelli said.
"It's even more important in this trying time to be in peak physical health.
"We're also still here and available to ensure patients access to any surgical care they need, when they need it."
